Director
Ryan Ellis BSc (Hons) MRes
As Director of RTA Restoration, Ryan leads the restoration of degraded landscapes into thriving, biodiverse habitats. He oversees land management, research programs, and the strategic legal and financial direction of the organisation. Committed to sustainability and scalability, Ryan focuses on the restoration of nature and the generation of ecosystem services as a core part of RTA Restoration’s mission.

Business Officer
George Elliott BSc (Hons)
George, a graduate in Economics with a specialisation in credit markets, brings his expertise in sales engineering and business strategy to RTA Restoration. As a Business Officer, he helps drive sales and funding for Biodiversity Net Gain projects. George’s expertise in financial planning, combined with his love for travel and the outdoors, enables him to effectively align business strategies with ecological outcomes.

Biodiversity Officer
Simon Claybourn BSc (Hons)
With over 10 years of experience as an ecologist, Simon has led large teams on bespoke conservation programs, delivering measurable improvements across various habitats. Passionate about wildlife, he enjoys sharing his expertise with diverse stakeholders. Simon currently leads a bat conservation program and manages Biodiversity Net Gain delivery for a county council, supporting local conservation efforts.

Research Officer
Connor Lovell MA (Cantab) MRes
As the Research Officer at RTA Restoration, Connor is at the forefront of ensuring that the organization’s conservation efforts are both data-driven and effective. Connor is pursuing his Ph.D. in Rewilding and holds degrees in Natural Sciences and Ecology and Conservation. Connor aims to utilise robust monitoring methods to ensure that RTA Restoration's efforts optimise both biodiversity and BNG units.

Conservation Officer
Alex Briggs BSc (Hons) MSc
Alex manages the Weald to Waves wildlife corridor, collaborating with farmers, land managers, and community groups to enhance ecological connectivity. With a background in conservation ranging from beaver reintroductions to geospatial analysis, he brings a wealth of experience to RTA Restoration. Alex is focused on maximising the broader impact of the organisation’s habitat restoration efforts.

Outreach Officer
Anabelle Reed
Anabelle is the Outreach Officer at RTA Restoration, balancing her role with completing her Biology degree. Focusing on marketing, she manages the company's website and social media. Her passion for conservation drives her efforts to connect RTA Restoration’s mission with a broader audience. Through using engaging content and strategies, Anabelle helps raise awareness and support for our biodiversity projects.
